This placement is for anyone who is contemplating a career in medicine. This placement is in one of the major hospitals in the capital of India – New Delhi –National Capital Region ,Faridabad , Dharmasala and other cities of India. But you do not need to be able to speak Hindi!

Whether you are thinking of applying to medical school or are already on a course, we can arrange valuable medical work experience for you in the capital city New Delhi and National Capital Region . You’ll shadow a doctor, spending time in various departments, both western medicine and traditional Acupuncture and Naprapathy.

While the facilities are modern, these clinics are devoted to traditional medicine, which runs in conjunction with Western medical practices in India. Some clinics do not have good facilities and may require help from you. You may find that you want to concentrate your time in one area, or learn about the interplay of both types of medicine and the holistic approach that is taken to health.

You will be assigned a supervisor who will be able to advise and support you during your placement. You will typically accompany a Doctor Monday to Friday. There is also opportunity to work within the health club and learn about complimentary medicines.

Having experienced Indian culture on your placement, our local staff can help you can spend weekends and free time exploring further, from the red Fort to the unforgettable sight of the Taj Mahal ,Agra. And other monuments of India

Airport collection from Delhi International airport. Welcome and safety briefing.. Then the next day you will be taken to the main hospital where your introduction and basic training is included. 4 weeks at the hospital including accommodation and training.
