I worked with children at Udaipur Rajashtan in from January 16 -28,2009.I taught ABC & 1,2,3,....I met them and can see their life. I worked with handicaped children they are really nice.I encountered with some communication problems and eating every day North Indian "Thali" was also difficult for me.It made me to see another world that I've never known before.I am impressed to see how the children work together. In This short time workcamp I shouldn't do many things and feel many emotions but this memory will make me smile in my whole life. Now I feel that I love the children.Lastly I'll remember this emotion forever.......

I am Lancy 34 years from USA . I joined FACE and my experience with FACE was a really enriching time. FACE is local level family type of organization that allows you to work at very personal level. The times I had at the work camp was a memorable I worked on the health project and it gave me real knowledge and experience to know how the medical system works in India. This enabled me to know the reality of the Life.

My name is Danielle Dowling and this year I decided to come to India to volunteer my time with F.A.C.E. I am twenty years and live in Adelaide, Australia. I am currently studying a double degree in Nursing and Health Sciences, specialising in Mental Health Nursing at Flinders University.I have always wanted to work helping others that were suffering and in need, especially those in developing countries. This is how I came to be in Faridabad.I have enjoyed my stay in India immensely. Volunteering has opened my eyes to the struggles faced by the disabled, not just in India but all over the world. Through volunteering with F.A.C.E I have also been able to experience the 'real' India. Spending one month immersed in Indian culture has been fantastic, I have seen and experienced how people here really live. I have been privileged to great hospitality from my hosts, who have been extremely generous and kind.I want to thank F.A.C.E for accepting me for this project as it has been an enriching experience. I feel that I have gained so much from my time volunteering and I can only hope that I have been able to help the children
